Bias Cut Silk Ribbon

Bias cut ribbon is made using fabric and is cut in strips at a 45 degree angle to the woven edge. The strips are joined to form a continuous "ribbon". So your continuance piece MAY or WILL have a seam somewhere in its length. This cannot be avoided.

By nature dupioni has slubs, wonderful as it adds to the texture of the ribbon.   Bias cut means the ribbon is cut on the bias of the fabric. so it has a cut edge but because it is on the bias in will not unravel. You can pull the cut edge to form a feather ragged edge.  Use for Jewelry, Ribbon work, Millinery, Floral, Invitations, Bridal, may uses.

Try over dying with the Colorhue Dyes. they are SO easy to use. No Heat setting.
